Processing of Personal Data in accordance with EU Regulation

In relation to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we ask you to consent to the processing of your personal data in the online shop www.o-cool.eu. The purpose of the GDPR is to provide a higher level of protection of your personal data and an overview of your processing and your rights.

Your personal data is processed solely in accordance with valid legislation. We process personal data only with the consent of the client. It is only on his/her free choice whether or not to grant his/her consent to the proposed scope. The granting of consent is entirely voluntary and consent can be revoked at any time. We are bound by the scope of the consent given, and we fully respect it.

1. Processing date:

We will process your personal information in order to execute your orders, ordered services, invoicing or order delivery to your contact address.

2. Scope of processing:

We process the following customer data required for carrying out orders and which you provide us with knowingly:

  • Name
  • Surname
  • Address (street and building number, postal code, city, state)
  • Telephone number
  • E-mail address
  • Cookies
  • IP address

3. Processing period

Your personal data will be safely stored, collected, processed and archived for the purpose of keeping records and documents for 10 years (pursuant to Act No. 431/2002 Coll., on Accounting as amended) from the last implemented order.

4. Cookies

We use cookies for the purpose of adapting content in our online shop to your preferences. Cookies are small data files that our online shop stores in your web browser when you visit it. If you do not consent to use of cookies, set your own rules for use of cookies in your web browser on your device. If you disable the use of cookies, the functionality of the online shop may be limited.

Cookies is a short text file that sends visited web pages to your browser. Cookies enable the website to remember information about your visit, such as preferred product view, product filters, and other settings when shopping. This makes other web pages run easier and they can be more productive. Cookies are important. Without them, browsing a website would be much more complicated.

5. Web metrics and analytics

These are conversion or pixel tags, or small graphic images that can be included in our online code, which allow us to identify the user for the purpose of recording his/her behavior and measuring his/her visits. We use the following systems:

6. Advertising and promotional services

In the online shop, we use your contacts to send advertising or business announcements beyond the handling of an order.  The following data is processed for this purpose:

  • name
  • surname
  • e-mail address

The data of users who subscribe to newsletters from the online shop are sent and processed by a non-EU third party – The Rocket Science Group, which operates the Mailchimp service and complies with the principles of the European Regulation on Personal Data Protection. 7. Right of access to data

The user of the online shop has the right to obtain information about the purpose and scope of processing of his/her personal data.

8. Right to data portability

It is the administrator’s responsibility to sell to the data holder all information processed in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format. By exercising this right, the user gains control of his/her personal data and has the ability to sell it to another manager in the given form.

9. Right of correction of data

In the event of a suspicion of inaccuracy of the stored data, the user has the right to ask the data administrator to correct the data. You can correct your data in the section https://www.o-cool.eu/my-account of your customer account.

10. Right to limited data processing

The user has the right to limit the processing of his/her personal data or to disable selected personal data, or to temporarily remove published data.

11. Right of deletion of data

The user has the right to delete his/her personal data without undue delay if they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which they were collected or processed and the legitimate reason for their possible archiving ceases. When requested to delete data, all irrevocably deleted and related orders (if any) will be anonymized.

12. The right to be forgotten

The user has the right to take reasonable steps, including technical measures, to delete all references to his/her personal data and their copies if the legitimate reason for their possible archiving ceases.

13. Right to raise objections

The user has the right to object to the processing of personal data, or if he/she has no right to exercise the right of deletion.

14. Right to file a grievance

The user has the right to file a grievance with the supervisory authority if he/she considers that the processing of his/her personal data is contrary to the GDPR Regulation.

15. Recording of user requests

The online shop operator is required to record all user requests for downloading, repairing, and deleting his/her data.

16. Ensuring data protection

We have up-to-date technical and security mechanisms to protect the data being processed against unauthorized access or transmission, loss or destruction or other possible misuse.

In the case of absence of consent and personal data, we will not be able to provide you with any services on the basis of the European Regulation on the Personal Data Protection.
